Starters

Kozhi Porichatu (DF option, NGCI)

Succulent chicken marinated with yogurt and lime then roasted in almond, coconut and a quintet of seeds (poppy, sesame, cumin, coriander & cardamom)

Paneer Tikka  (NGCI)

Tandoori roasted paneer, in a coriander and ginger marinade.

Served with red cabbage thoran & tomato chutney

Onion, Carrot & Potato Pakoda  (NGCI & V)

An Indian Summer favourite. Onion, carrot and potato mixed with gram flour 

& spices. Served with coriander chutney & tamarind chutney

Mussels Polichatu  (NGCI & DF)

Rope grown mussels steamed In a refreshing coconut, ginger, chilli & lime sauce

Mains

Baigan Aloo subzi  (DF option, NGCI option)

Traditional home style recipe of aubergine and potato. Served with basmati rice, chapati and sesame raita

Beef Pondicherry  (NGCI, DF)

Tender slow cooked beef In a medium spiced creamy coconut sauce. Served with forest mushrooms, aloo subzi, basmati rice, mango and pineapple chutney

Chicken Saumy  (NGCI option)

Mildly spiced chicken breast with roasted peppers in a creamy cashew and tomato sauce with rice, chapati, mango and pineapple chutney and raita

Hyderabadi Murgh  (NGCI option)

A cuisine rich in history influenced by the Nizams in the mid 17th century. 

This is our version. Tender chicken in a marinade of yoghurt, nutmeg and cinnamon. The sauce is prepared with red chilli, mint leaves, cashew nuts and then tempered with ghee & shahi jeera. Served with basmati rice, chapati, mango pineapple chutney & pickle

Prawn Rangoon  (NGCI & DF option)

Owner, Byron’s great-grandmother created this deliciously sweet and sour dish, refining it when the family moved from Rangoon to India. The complementary flavours of tamarind, coconut and chilli will take you on a journey from Burma to Bombay. Served with chilli garlic samphire and basmati rice
